[Nothing weird has happened in the store so far, thankfully, and Dorian himself is grateful for that. He needed a bit of... normalcy if you can call this that. Sure it's all the stuff he doesn't know about but he loves learning. And so long it stays this way, there won't be any problems (or further increase of paranoia).
When he hears Robbie speak up, Dorian looks up from the book he's holding and enthusiastically waves.]
Oh! Robbie! It's a book on musical instruments. I didn't know there was a lute that runs on electricity! As well as fiddle!
[A guitar... maybe he did hear of it, from Eddie, but forgot for a moment.]
[ Robby isn't going to think to immediately correct Dorian, not when he needs to step some steps to see any examples Dorian might want to show him. Instead: ] Yeah? Lot of stuff you can hook up to electric. Even have machines that can make any instrument sound.
[ Which might be a lot to tell a guy, though Robby's saying it in such a throwaway manner. Thinks to ask, with far more interest: ] You got anything to play?
[Dorian is fine with being corrected, but he appreciates Robbie letting him puzzle things out on his own. Music is fascinating to him, it always was, so seeing instruments he's never seen before is exciting.]
Really!? That's so interesting. None of the instruments I ever encountered needed such a thing. I even tried playing the organ, but... [he narrows his eyes,] it sounded vaguely creepy.
Anything to play... well! I got the tapes we talked about! [He's holding some VHS tapes and a few CDs. If that's what he was aiming for.]
[ He huffs, a sound of humour regarding the sound of an organ, which--yeah, Robby can't disagree, though he's never heard one in person.
But, ah, those tapes- ] I meant an instrument, [ he admits, ] but let's find what plays those. You gonna need something for each, unless... [ Robby points to the VHS tapes. ]
We can find those in slimmer cases. We started putting movies on disks like in those ones. [ A point at the CD case. ] But, uh, all the machines to play them should be in the same place. You wanna stick with those, or find the different disks?

[ Up to Dorian, really. ]
