If it were earlier in the day, Robby might have a different reaction to the message that comes through on his phone. Instead, there's a thoughtful pause that's followed by the inconvenience of where he's decided to hole himself up and the distance it will take to get to the diner, but it's not one that makes Robby question what he'll do. ]

[ It just means he'll have to take the train from the district he's in and over to the diner, with another quick message shot over once he's boarded to give an estimate of how long he'll be, just so Mister LaRusso knows he's still on his way.
He could ask what this thing is, but he figures it's something better just to see in person--maybe someone found something. Brought it over. All thoughts that flitter about Robby's head as he has to make the trek to the diner, finally, the street lamps illuminating with what amount of light is still otherwise present, the rain fortunately taking a break currently.
The door opens with a tinkle, familiar, and Robby steps in with an idea of where to look. Will give a 'hey' and a nod to Mister LaRusso if he's within view, but regardless, Robby doesn't rush. It's important, but habit makes Robby take the few seconds to wipe the bottom of his shoes against the door mat.
Hello, Mister LaRusso. Are you at the front of the diner or the back? ]
[ Daniel is in the front - sitting at one of the tables, two mugs already on the table. One filled with Daniel's usual, the other with Robby's usual - if anyone would know the latter, it's Daniel, after all.
It's not the only thing on the table though. Lying on it between the two mugs is something else - something that looks like a bunch of papers stapled together.
Truthfully.. Daniel had thought a lot about how to show this to Robby. There are plenty of things he felt like he maybe should redact. The parts about him, for one, because his head is still spiralling a little bit with what was written about the relationship between him and Robby. Or maybe the parts about the father wound.. Daniel knows Robby enough to know the teen wouldn't exactly appreciate being psychologically analysed by the city, let alone when it comes to that of all things.
But in the end honesty felt like the best option. Especially when all of this might somehow be revealed in the end anyway - and Daniel doesn't want to be someone who hides things from Robby. He wants to be someone the boy can rely on.
Surrogate father figure. God, he keeps thinking about it..

Hey, Robby. Thanks for coming. [ He gives Robby a slight smile when the other approaches or moves to sit down, but there's something a little tight about it. Robby probably recognizes it well enough at this point to be able to tell there's something a little tense in it. ]
I, uh.. I found this. And I thought it's important that you're able to read it too.
[ He's not touching the papers in any way. Robby is free to grab them to read, or to just lean over to look. ]
