[THE CITY] WELCOME DINER
UPON ARRIVAL...
For newcomers arriving in City Hall Station, they may notice flyers stuck to walls and pillars with a large bold LOST? NEW? in red catching their eye. There's a simple message underneath it that reads:
Everyone in this city showed up the same way you did. There's directions underneath, and following them will lead the curious to a nearby restaurant with the simple sign...
No memory how we got here. No idea where we are.
Come to the location below if you want to know more.
You can meet people or find a leaflet.
There's places to stay. There's no currency.
Check your phone's contacts for names you know.
Stay safe.

ABOUT!
- The Welcome Diner is, as the name implies, a Welcoming Diner for newcomers, but also a small resource pocket (to help the goal of spreading information reliably). It's opened every day for the first week of every month, and then sporadically through the rest. It is primarily run by Daniel LaRusso (ic inbox), and people are free to volunteer or make suggestions.
- Outside, there is a large
menucommunity board titled 'DINER & CITY EVENTS' on the wall, split within two sections. One side houses a map-in-progress that includes lists of the types of shops, and a note about crowded or less-crowded apartment buildings. Next to this is a more general greeting for newbies to read:WELCOME !
Every month, people from other worlds are brought to the city.
We know this is an experiment, but we don't know what their goal is beyond building community.
Attempts to leave voluntary have failed, and people disappear without a trace. Their network messages and belongings too.
More information is available by the bulletin board on what people have tried to do and how much we know.
If you need help with anything, from the technology, living arrangements, to anything more personal, please ask the people around.
Or check the pamphlets available for more discretion: someone else may have covered the topic.
Our doors are open for anyone hungry or lost.
— The Welcome Diner - On the other side, people are free to leave advertisement for clubs or meetings, or whatever they please. This document is the best place to add details of any clubs, information on resources that would be available, or any character services that would be promoted at the diner to let other characters know!
- This file is also available, detailing some basics 'What we know' and a timeline of peculiar events and any effects. Anyone can help and add to it!
